Briege was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome when her mommy was 24 weeks pregnant.  After Briege was born, she was also diagnosed with a Cleft Palate.  Briege’s main medical team is located at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.  She was born there and had her first open heart surgery there as well.  She had a cath and open heart surgery again the week of October 23, 2017. Briege’s family traveled from their home in the Des Moines area to Wisconsin.
