Dani Rae was born with a serious heart defect.  For the last 3 months Dani's parents have been working hard to help Dani put on weight so she could get her much needed heart surgery.  This journey has been very difficult for Dani and both her parents.  They have had several hospital visits and many doctor's visits in this short 3 months of her life.  Dani has also been hospitalized with RSV which is not a good thing for infants and much harder on an infant with a heart condition such as Dani.  The family will be traveling from the Algona area to Iowa City.
